Board your Labrador Retriever in our Long Island home. We also welcome other breeds. Your dog will get the VIP (Very Important Pooch) treatment! Our resident pups, Jameson and Addie, were adopted from the Guide Dog Foundation, and Harley was a rescue. They are extremely friendly and well behaved, and get along great with other dogs. They love chasing balls in the yard and playing with our visiting dogs.
Gen worked at the Guide Dog Foundation of Long Island for 8 years, and she greatly enjoys caring for animals. Labs always have been her favorite. For nearly a decade, Gen and her husband, Mike, have opened their home and hearts to boarding Labs and other breeds for day-care, overnight or long-term stays. They also have three young daughters, so all dogs must do well with children.
Gen’s parents, Michael and Anne Marie, visit frequently, and they enjoy walking the dogs around the neighborhood and to a nearby beach. We also have a large fenced yard where your dog can run and play.
We require a meet-and-greet in advance for new guest dogs to make sure it’s a good fit for all. Also, we only accept bookings for spayed or neutered dogs.
We’ll supply the toys, bedding and feeding bowls. Please bring the following for your dog’s vacay:
Medical records and any medications
Food and feeding schedule
Collar and leash
We'll treat your Lovely Lab like a member of the family.
